Simple definition of loop , play once, single frame

The term , loop, playonce, single frame , can only be seen when u convert your animating object to symbols

loop---      loops the animation done inside a symbolized object (you can assign the no of loops).

play once ----   play the entire animation done inside a symbol for only  no of times you assigned .

single frame ------   play only the individual frame inside the main symbol which you have assigned.

so here is an example for a better knowing.

And in flash animation multisymboling is widely used for variety kindoff animations .....

For ex

If  you created a simple rounded object with a simple eye only , and you need to animate  the head with a kindoff stretch and squashy animations. then it,s very simple by multi symbolizing .......
At first select the eye and the complete head and convert it to a symbol .
Then get inside the symbol by double clicking the main symboized object ....and then again symbolize the eye and the head individually ,,,and then distribute it to indvidual layers ,....

Then animate a small eye blink ....in the individual eye layer and then double click to the outside , or come to the main scene and animate the stretch and squashy kindoff animation and pls notice .....if you don,t need any blink till the 20th frame thn click the first frame of the main symbolized object and assign single frame from the looping option from the properties ...and give the single frame value ,,(1),And the value 1 will be suitable because 1 has the most eye opening at the inside .And then click at the 20th frame of the main symbolized object and from the looping section assign play once (1) where  the inside animation will be playing only one time ....
pls try to work out the above  metioned section and it will give you a better understanding of the looping options
looping , play once , single frame ,
